Your website is set up as an outline. The menu bar shows the main links and sub menus drop down from there. Before you sit down at a computer you should create the outline of the website. If you write each topic or heading on a separate index card you can physically move them around and see what makes sense. Organization is important before you choose style, color, photos.
While you’re organizing, determine which topics deserve to be in a menu and which need a link in a page.
When this is done it’s time to write your content.
