One of the aspects of a website that Google looks at in it’s placement algorithm is inter connectivity. That is how many links there are, in the website, to other pages in the site. It’s normal to link through the menu bar at the top of the website but it’s a good practice to have other links inside the body of the copy that take you to other pages. <\/p>\n

When you have a one page website<\/em> or as we call them, a one-pager, there are no other pages to link to. Even if you link to other content, it doesn’t leave the page. <\/p>\n

It’s a wasted opportunity to move up in Google rankings.<\/p>\n

One page websites were really popular about 4 years ago. They were a trend that quickly came and went though once designers realized they were not helping with Google ranking. <\/p>\n
