Time to write the content for your website

After you’ve determined who your target audience is and the outline of your website, it’s time to fill those pages with content. Content is king.  Good solid writing will bring visitors to your website.  Write succinctly, and clearly.  Don’t use 5 words when 1 will do.  Start writing your pages and see where there are logical places to link to other ideas or pages in your text.  Remember, if at all possible, to stay on your own website and not to lead your visitors to other sites. While your writing think about what photos you would like to use and where they should go.  When you insert a photo add alt text to describe it.  This will allow search engines to know what the photo is. Use H tags.  Headings help search engines navigate your website. Make your most important thought an H1 and use the rest of the headings to organize the ideas on the page. H2 for a heading for a less important breakdown. If you think you have enough information on your site save it and walk away.  When you return to the computer re-read what you have written and make corrections. If you want to link to other information or pages make sure the links are going to the correct places.  Double check everything and publish.
